On Sunday, April 15 all of the staff participated in another Education class taught by Dylan Sit. Dylan is an Educator from the AVEDA Acedemy in Toronto. The focus of the class was free flowing, relaxed hair, with less structured techniques.
Nutritional Seminar with Jumanah Beck (April 30/12).

On Monday, April 30 @ 6:30pm Henning Salon will be hosting a nutritional seminar with Jumanah Beck. Her seminars include the following topics: Specialized Diets, Fat Loss Programs, Holistic Nutrition, Sports Meal Plans, and Competition Diets. Friends and Family Day, Friday November 25

Halloween Harvest Celebration

Henning Salon participated in the annual Downtown Orangeville Halloween Harvest Celebration on October 22. Over 800 kids came into the salon all dressed up in their halloween costumes to get some candy and treats. All of the staff dressed up as well.
October is Breast Cancer Awarenes Month

Breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in Canadian women. It is estimated that 23,200 women in Canada will be diagnosed with breast cancer and 5,300 women will die from the disease in 2011.

Katia, Maggie, and Theresa recently attended the Editorial Styling Class at the AVEDA Institute in Toronto. The class was taught by world renowned stylist Frank Rizzieri who has worked all over the world as an editorial stylist doing Photoshoots and fashion shows with names such as Versace, Harpers Bazaar, and Victoria’s Secret
Education at the Salon

On June 2oth, all of our stylists participated in Up-style training with Morgan from the AVEDA Institute in Toronto. The stylists were taught how to perform nine different looks. The class was excellent and we were fortunate to have Morgan come to the salon to educate our staff. Education is a key driver to our success as a salon!
Walk for Water

Staff at Henning Salon raised over $600 towards AVEDA’s Walk for Water Campaign. Staff participated in a 6 km walk – this is the average distance a young girl or woman in East Africa must walk to access clean water. Through the walk we aim to generate awareness to the global water crisis.

We held another Education Day with Tristen Morrison from the AVEDA Academy in Toronto. The focus of this training was to learn new trends in both straight and curly hair. All of the stylists were excited to learn from Tristen. Education is a key driver to our success and growth.
